Celebrate your victories!

by Ejaz on June 11, 2010

Today is a victory for South Africa and the African continent as we celebrate the Fifa 2010 World Cup for the very first time on the African continent. We began this celebration in Orlando Stadium in Soweto a suburb of Johannesburg. We opened the celebration with an address by Sepp Blatter The President of Fifa and Jacob Zuma The President of South Africa.

We were fortunate that we had fantastic bands the likes of Black Eyed Peas and artists like Alicia Keys and Shakira. It was awesome. However what really made this special, was it was first a goal of one man, Former President Nelson Mandela had this dream many years ago before anyone even knew it would be possible. We give thanks to him for we are now seeing his dream come to fruition.

What does this have to do with you?
Always set yourself a dream that is larger then life.A dream that may seem impossible to achieve by you alone. You will be surprised how many people will come together to make that dream come true.Everything that you see around you was once a dream and that dream was achieved. So believe in yourself and always know that with faith anything is possible.

Hi Ejaz! I thank you for this encouraging post. Yes, everything around us started as a dream in the mind of one person. We all have BIG dreams but are afraid to speak them for fear of rejection or ridicule. However, courage and faith is what manifests our dreams. I look forward to more of your posts. Thank you. One Love!
