21 May 2010 marks the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars The Empire Strike Back which was realeased in 1980.
In honor of that anniversary,Im giving you two reason why The Empire Strikes Back Still Rules.
For starters we first learnt about The Force in Star Wars A New Hope and it is an integral to all subsequent incarnations of Star Wars.
In The Empire Strikes Back, Emperor Palpatine states “There is a great disturbance in the Force.” in reference to Luke Skywalker. Yoda points out that “a Jedi’s strength flows from the Force.” while training Luke Skywalker.Master Yoda also explains that “you must feel the Force around you.” During their battle in Cloud City, Darth Vader tells Luke “The Force is with you, young Skywalker, but you are not a Jedi yet.” Finally, Luke Skywalker says “May the Force be with you” at the end of the movie.
What is The Force?
In Star Wars A New Hope, the Force is first described by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi as an energy field created by all living things, that surrounds and penetrates living beings and binds the galaxy together.
Perhaps the best way to describe what the Force is can be seen in this scene.
As you can see that no problem is big enough for you to overcome.You have the power inside of you to achieve whatever you want in your life.
What are your limiting beliefs?
When somebody tells me they are going ‘TO TRY’ I know they are not going to do it.
Always remember Master Yoda’s words ‘Do Or Do Not, There Is No Try’
What beliefs have you imposed upon yourself that is preventing you from becoming the person you are truly meant to be?
Do you look at your problems as something so huge that you cannot overcome them? What is it that you are considering as impossible?
Right Now I want you to change all of that and truly BELIEVE IN YOURSELF and FEEL THE FORCE
within you!
Do not look at your problems and see how big they are, tell all your problems how big God is and that He will always be there for you.
You just need to HAVE FAITH and always remember one thing NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE
This was another great scene in the film when Darth Vader tells Luke “I am your father.”
